What are the testing standards for WMG Artificial Turf?

1. heavy metal

Some manufacturers use the materials containing heavy metals in materials, these materials having heavy metals or some harmful polymers exceed the standard, especially lead, which are harmful to human body.
WMGrass has been tested by SGS, CSIRO and REACH, and the content of heavy metals and harmful polymers is qualified.
2.anti-uv
If the Artificial turf does not add anti-UV particles during production, it may begin to fade in about 1 month of use .
Fading is not the worst. Broken grass is even more terrifying. After a period of trampling, many grass silks with poor UV resistance will break or become powder.
WMGrass is tested by SGS, CSIRO and our own laboratory (5000 hours), and UV resistance meets FIFA standards.
3.turflock
Landscapes and football grass have different extraction force requirements, thinking about the frequency of use, the stepping force and the instantaneous impact force ,and the customer's inspection standards, the extraction force of football grass is much higher than landscapes.
4.wear resistant
Landscapes basically has no wear resistance requirements. Sports grass can refer to FIFA's wear standard (lisport) test, 3000 or 6000 rpm.
WMGrass has equipment used by FIFA to test wear resistance, and most of the grass is tested to pass the standard.
5.high temperature resistant
The general advantage of artificial turf is that it saves water, wears high temperature, but natural grass is not easy to grow in this environment .
6.The FIFA Standard covers performance measures ranging from ball roll, ball bounce, and foot traction, to surface heat, surface planarity, and even turf yarn thickness.
Vertical Deformation is the measure of how much a surface gives underfoot.
Shock Absorption is exactly as it says, the measure of shock absorption percentage by a surface.
Rotational Resistance is the measure of surface traction.
Although not part of the current FIFA standard, these test are still important:
Energy Restitution is the measure of how much energy as a percentage is returned from a surface to the athlete.
G-max is a test that is effective at measuring body injury impact rather than head injury impact.
HIC is a test for Head Injury Criterion.
